I'll have a real entry up by the end of tonight, but I want to give you all your daily assignment. Since I'd really like this blog to be more interactive, I'd like EVERYONE who reads this entry to write about something exciting going on in YOUR life. It can be a fun activity you did this week with friends or family; it can be something you're looking forward to; or maybe just a good book you read. Your pick. You all know the things I've been doing, but I have no idea what I'm missing at home, so catch me up!
And as always, I love comments and questions, so feel free to write me at the end of any blog entry. That way, I know you're paying attention and will be more likely to keep up with it.
Cheers!

Hi, It's Crissy and I work with your mom. Hope it's ok I have been checking out your wonderful photos. I was trying to sign your mom up to play donkey basketball. Sadly, she wants no part in it. For those of you who don't know, donkey basketball involves real donkeys on an indoor basketball court. People ride around on the donkeys and try to make baskets for their team. Doesn't it sound like a hoot? Can you help me persuade her?
Sorry Crissy... I know my mom has back problems, so I can't imagine riding donkeys would be good for that. We had donkey basketball in our high school and I'm actually friends with one of the guys whose family owns one of the biggest trained-donkey farms around. fun stuff!
becky, i barely talked to you today! you know i dont really do anything, so i have nothing exciting to report. HOWEVER, today i bought what is without a doubt the best action/martial arts movie ever. THE PROTECTOR. needless to say i watched it. highlight of my week. (is that sad?) whatever.
I have three consecutive nights out in London planned - that's quite exciting!
Got a lot planned work wise, some of which is kind of exciting, that's really sad isn't it? :)
Hey Cuz...not much is going on here. I started classes on Monday....boring :-p I havent really done much, but I am hoping to get some tickets to things at the Arts Center. I did join a YMCA volleyball tournament so last night we had our first game. We lost. But the net was set at guys height and there were some really tall guys who could kill ball. Oh well, its just for fun. Alright ttyl. Love you.

Mom says....
Thanks for coming to my defense on the donkey b-ball thing. You're my hero !! Yeah, as fun as it sounds, it would sure suck to get thrown by a stubborn a** and put my back out worse than it already is. Your friend's donkey troupe is the one coming to the school...how cool is that. His donkeys could climb stairs (a neccesity for Bardo gym) so they will be here next week. Love your site...love the pics. Talk to you soon
Hey, it's Rachel from ISR ....Sorry i just got a chance to read your blog...but things sound amazing!! sweet uk clubs....double decker buses...camden...aaaahhhhh the culture shock...i'm glad your having so much fun! on the other hand..i can't say i have anything more exciting then donkey basketball (you had that at your highschool?!) ISR is finally drifting down to a about 12 hours a week so needless to say I am currently job hunting....school is keeping me super busy (its only the 2nd day) and the typical nights of sparks and hard lq are typical. i'll keep you posted on more...<333 miss you!
As requested UPS antecedents:
"There's not much to say about yesterday, other than I delivered a hell of a lot of packages. Someone is getting a deluxe size George Foreman grill for Christmas. Oh fickle fad of yesterday. Maybe, just maybe, some of us still like our burgers to soak and be basted in their own greasy juices. Margaret Rodriguez obviously does. And what's with these bastards that decide they simply must have their front door entrance located up several flights of stairs? Je-sus."
"Yesterday at work, there was some sort of item in a padded envelope that needed to be delivered to a home with a couple of nasty looking dogs. Not wanting to test our luck, we decided to just drop the package out the window onto the driveway and be done with it. As we were pulling away, I looked back to see one of the dogs sniffing the envelope, grabbing it up in his mouth, and then chasing the truck with the item firmly between toothy jaws. Apparently, he was just trying to give it back to us. Ain't nothin' like this happened since old-boy-Buddha was served up that bowl of honey by the monkey. Anyway. A woman poked her head out of the door, and the dog then turned and brought the package to her, so at least we didn't have to chase it down. I have a feeling the supervisors would have never bought the dog ate the package bit."
"We we're having problems with stuff trying to exit prematurely through the doors today. The flashlight made its escape on a bumpy driveway, but was later recovered. My water bottle tried to sneak past, but I snapped it up before it was gone. The best one? A package marked "fragile, handle with care" was sent pinging across the highway at 55 mph. Why not shut the doors, you ask? Because, this vintage 1984 package car's ingress/egress hatches can no longer be opened from the inside. Also: we backed in a parked car and hauled ass outta there. It happens. Tell no one. Sure, you could try to sue, but how would you ever finger the specific big brown truck that sliced off your bumper? We are thankful for their cloned nature of the beasts. BOLDNESS THROUGH ANONYMITY."
